We went to Guys twice on our recent trip to Clifden, and found it very good both times. Ireland isn’t known for haute cuisine, so we weren’t expecting anything other than “bar food” from Guys, and that’s what we got. It was good bar food, though! What made it special, though, was the service. Friendly, inviting – they even let us sit at a table for hours to watch an important sporting match (the All-Ireland Football Final). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
